NHS Blood are holding blood donation sessions:
At: Hayle Academy, 3 High Lanes, Hayle TR27 4DN
On: Wednesday 29 August 2018
Please go along and donate blood if you can.
This is the plea we received from the local blood donation co-ordinator:
“I am contacting local people and organisations to ask for support.
We have a Blood Donation session on Wednesday 29th of August at Hayle Academy, this is a last minute visit to help us address an unforseeable issue that arose in the wider area. There is currently a high level of appointments remaining (56) and we need to do everything we can to raise awareness locally so that we are able to fill these appointments collect enough blood on the day.
The visit is being held at Hayle Academy, 3 High Lanes, Hayle, TR27 4DN, with an afternoon period and an evening period (13:15-15:30 and 16:30 to 19:30).
We ask that people call our helpline 0300 1232323 or visit our website blood.co.uk to book one of the available appointments, after checking the eligibility criteria.”
