Madness of King George

The 12 hour running event organised by Bys Vyken Events that took place on King George V Memorial Walk on 27 August 2017 was a resounding success.

Everyone involved worked hard and had a good time, if all the reviews from participants and spectators are to be believed! Several people have labelled it ‘the best race of my life’.

Of course the location is one that’s hard to beat – thanks to the town council’s gardener and the Hayle in Bloom volunteers who work tirelessly to make the Walk such a beautiful asset to the town.  Check out the following links for all the reviews from the runners and a particularly moving Facebook comment from one of the spectators.

This was the first such event on the Walk and we hope to be welcoming Bys Vyken Events to the venue again, possibly for an annual event.

Finally, thank you to Bys Vyken Events for the £70 donation to Hayle in Bloom.
